Mark Lasis Quintet with DJ Greg Boraman
Mark Lasis is a young London-based accordionist and composer whose music combines elements of jazz, funk and rock among other styles. His innovative sound, combining unique instrumentation and mature original compositions, has garnered him recognition as one of the most promising emerging jazz artists in London. He has already performed at the Camden Club, Temple of Art and Music, Hootananny Brixton and the iconic Camden venue Dingwalls among many other venues, as well as sold-out headline shows at The Bullingdon (Oxford), Vineyard Jazz Club Canary Wharf, Bloc Glasgow and O2 Academy Oxford.
On 11th January, Mark brings his quintet to Jazztrain Shoreditch consisting of some of London’s best up-and-coming jazz talent for two sets of original compositions and arrangements.

Renowned jazz organist, A&R man, DJ, and radio mouthpiece, Greg Boraman, will be returning to Jazztrain. He'll be spinning an eclectic mix of jazz genres from his extensive vinyl collection, including bebop, hard bop, soul-jazz, Afro & Brazilian rhythms, funky fusion, organ grooves, soundtracks, and swinging big band sounds.
