Grupo Martillada is a compact vibes-led quintet with the BIG sound! Combining edgy New Yorican sophistication with the classics of Latin and contemporary jazz, it’s the sound of percussive melodic energy!
Featuring Vibraphone virtuoso Roger Beaujolais Plan B3 aim to explore the musical and sonic possibilities of the highly versatile but unusual lineup of Hammond organ, guitar Vibraphone and drums, with Simon Fernsby on guitar Tristan Mailliot on drums Pete Whittaker on Hammond organ they will perform tunes in the Bebop , Blues, Funk and jazz rock idioms, with elements of psychedelia and fusion

Zach Sewell is a London-based saxophonist and composer, whose quintet is defined by rhythmically exciting writing and intense band interplay. Their original compositions reflect a varied pool of influences from jazz, gospel and the avant-garde, creating an exploratory and dynamic sound. Performing all-original music. Featuring fearless interplay, complex and boundary-pushing.

Get right on it with the down-home sounds of Katy Jungmann's organ quartet, with cuts cooked in mid-century high Modernism and soulful rhythm n' groove. It's a classic line-up of tenor horn and organ, plus electric guitar and drums. Think of all the usual culprits... McDuff meets Jimmy Forrest, Babyface and Lou Donaldson, Charles Earland and Houston Person. It's all here baby. Stand by for a proper root-down Sunday session.

With a sound punching well aboveu its weight, this 8-tet features brass, loads of saxes, the intense rhythms of jazz, soul, Latin and world music's and all of it bound together by Dave Hammer’s vibes, baton and transcendent energy! Expect a continuation of our progressive trajectory inc original funk, jazz and soul alongside dynamic arrangements of music by Gary Burton, Tom Scott and even some Frank Zappa to go into the mix!
